Life House Ministries (“Life House”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. We are based in Brisbane, Australia, and we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This policy explains what information we collect through life-house.net, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using this website or submitting information through it, you agree to the practices described below.

01

Who we are

Life House Ministries is a faith-based ministry that provides discipleship training, spiritual-warfare equipping, books, and teaching resources. This website is the ministry’s online home.

If you have any questions about this policy or about how we handle your information, you can contact us using the details at the end of this page.

02

Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to provide, or that is reasonably necessary for us to respond to you and operate the ministry. We do not require you to create an account to read the site.

Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

  • Contact and enquiry forms - your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message when you submit a ministry, training, prayer, giving, media, or general enquiry.
  • Notify-on-release and newsletter sign-ups - the email address you give us so we can let you know when a book is released or send ministry updates.
  • Calvary Bible School interest - the email address you provide to be notified about a course level.
  • Donations and giving - if you give, payment details are handled by our third-party payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on this website.
  • Technical information - standard, largely anonymous data your browser sends (such as approximate location, device and browser type, and pages visited) used to keep the site secure and working well.
03

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiries, prayer requests, and ministry invitations.
  • Send you the release alerts, course updates, or newsletters you have asked for.
  • Process and acknowledge donations where you choose to give.
  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website.
  • Meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
04

Cookies and analytics

This website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used. These do not identify you personally.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. If you do, some parts of the site may not work as smoothly, but you will still be able to read its content.

05

How we store and protect your information

Information submitted through the site is stored securely with our hosting and database providers and is accessible only to authorised members of the Life House team.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information once we receive it, and we keep it only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law.

06

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We will not share it except in the limited circumstances below:

  • With trusted service providers (for example email, hosting, database, and payment providers) who help us operate the ministry and who are bound to protect your information.
  • Where you have asked us to, or given your consent.
  • Where we are required or authorised to do so by law.
07

Third-party links and services

Our site links to and embeds third-party services - for example online book retailers, podcast platforms, and video providers. When you follow those links or play embedded media, the third party’s own privacy policy applies.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of websites we do not control, and we encourage you to review their policies.

08

Your rights and choices

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
